This statement is made by GETTMI. ("GETTMI", "we", "our", or "the Company") pursuant of the Modern Slavery Act. It sets out the steps we are taking to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.
GETTMI is a fashion technology company and e-commerce marketplace, connecting consumers to a curated selection of global influencer-led and emerging designer brands. We work with independent designers, third-party brands, and third-party providers across the globe. Our supply chain includes:
● Fashion brands and Designer partners
● Logistics and Operations providers
● Technology and Digital service suppliers
● Content production and Marketing vendors
At GETTMI, our mission is to build a fashion platform that celebrates global creativity while promoting integrity, inclusivity, and transparency. We are committed to ensuring that our entire ecosystem from partners to platforms to procurement reflects these values. One of our guiding principles is: human rights are universal.
Risk Assessment & Due Diligence
We recognize that modern slavery risks may arise within the extended layers of the global vendor ecosystem, particularly in industries associated with garment production, logistics, or offshore labour. We assess and monitor the potential for modern slavery risks across all our commercial relationships. Key due diligence steps include:
● Partner Onboarding Vetting: All brand and vendor partners must complete our ethical compliance questionnaire, confirming adherence to human rights standards.
● Contractual Obligations: All suppliers are required to agree to the GETTMI Vendor Code of Conduct, which prohibits forced labour, child labour, and other exploitative practices.
● Ongoing Monitoring: We reserve the right to audit partners or request supporting documentation where risks are identified.
● High-Risk Flagging: Partnerships located in or sourcing from regions with high-risk labour practices are subject to additional scrutiny.
Company Policies and Codes in Place
GETTMI’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (“the Code”) incorporates policies that uphold and promote fundamental human rights. The Code is issued to all employees by GETTMI as part of the onboarding process and forms a mandatory component of our policy attestation requirements. All team members are required to acknowledge and adhere to its principles as a condition of their employment.
GETTMI has implemented the following policies to underpin our ethical standards:
Vendor Code of Conduct
Our Vendor Code outlines the ethical expectations, labour standards, and operational practices we require from all vendors, including not only their ‘permanent’ employees but also their ‘non-permanent’ employees. It specifically addresses issues such as human rights and modern slavery as outlined by the Modern Slavery Act by requiring vendors to uphold principles on freely chosen employment, fair wages, non-discrimination, health and safety, and respect for workers’ rights. The Vendor Code is contractually embedded within all partner agreements.
Ethical Sourcing Policy
Our Ethical Sourcing Policy outlines our expectations for fair labour practices, including compliance with the respective national laws in place, no exploitation, and responsible subcontracting. This sourcing policy also covers in the workplace policies by vendors such as inhumane treatment of employees, working hours which may be deemed discriminatory or rates of pay and terms of employment.
Employee Code of Ethics
Mandatory for all GETTMI staff, our Employee Code of Ethics outlines key responsibilities related to the reporting, transparency, and zero tolerance of human rights abuse. GETTMI provides a secure and anonymous process for employees and external stakeholders to report any ethical concerns, including suspected breaches of our modern slavery statement. This ensures a clear and, where legally permitted, confidential route for reporting any violations of our Code of Ethics.
Our partners — many of whom are creators and independent designers — are expected to align with GETTMI’s values. We aim to work only with brands that demonstrate transparency in sourcing, safe and fair labour practices, and a clear commitment to human dignity.
By 2030 we have set a list of goals to introduce:
● Sustainability & Human Rights Self-Assessments for brand partners
● Annual Compliance Attestation for all key vendors
● Capacity-building resources to educate partners on ethical sourcing and supply chain responsibility
Oversight of our key ethical business practices, including modern slavery prevention, lies with the GETTMI senior leadership team, supported by our Legal and Partnerships departments. We plan to establish a Sustainability and Ethics Working Group to further formalize our ESG approach. GETTMI is committed to enhancing our approach each year. Planned developments include:
● Launching a risk-based supplier assessment matrix
● Partnering with industry watchdogs and NGOs to support greater transparency in small-brand supply chains
● Including ethical sourcing impact as a consideration in brand onboarding and curation
● Partnering with industry leading sustainability platforms to ensure we have a robust and independent accredited approach so GETTMI can continue to be transparent about the impact of brands on the environment, people and animal welfare.
This statement was prepared by GETTMI’s Sustainability Council. It will be reviewed and updated annually.
